With a 9ct gold cased reverse and a lovely glass fronted centre , this Victorian brooch would have been used as a sentimental piece of jewellery for a loved one . The design is simple and elegant with a halo of seed pearls surrounded the plaited lock of blonde hair in the middle . There is a small gold initial under the glass nestles with the hair which appears to be either an 'A' or a 'H' . The brooch has the full pin on the back with the intact C clasp and also a small bail where the safety chain with pin would have originally connected . The bail now houses a Jump ring if you wish to wear the brooch as a pendant .
